Request for Proposals

Program Description

The Sandyston-Walpack Educational Foundation, Inc. (SWEF) will consider awarding discretionary grants to support educational projects proposed by the faculty, staff, or parents of Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School or proposed by other community members for the benefit of such students. Grants will be considered for any project taking place during a twelve month period which supports the Foundation’s mission.

Mission Statement

The Sandyston-Walpack Educational Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed to provide funds to enhance educational opportunities available to students of the Sandyston-Walpack Consolidated School.

Funding

Discretionary grants vary in amount dependent on the scope of the proposal and the SWEF funds available. Grants must be used within a 12 month period. Applicants should request a specific amount and propose a specific budget. Each proposal must be endorsed by the Superintendent of Schools. A brief mid-year progress report and a final project assessment report will be required.

The number of grants awarded will depend on the number and scope of requests received. Each recipient will be asked to sign a commitment letter in which the foundation and grantee agree in advance upon the goals and objectives of the project.
